My bags are One-Of-A-Kind works of art lovingly handcrafted one-by-one in my studio. The epitome of quality workmanship is found in each & every bag. Ddesigned after the classic, universal concept of vintage knitting bag, The Tika bag has been updated with useful, modern features.

The Bag Exterior:
The exterior of the bag is a classic tapestry weave fabric in varying styles and shades. All seams are double stitched. Heavy interfacing and boning add strength and stability to each bag. Bag closure is a brass finish magnetic set.
The Lining & Construction:
The lining used on the Tika Bags is beautifully contrasted with the exterior fabric and includes interior pockets to tuck away the little odds & ends we knitters use.
The Pockets:
The generously sized inner pockets run the entire width of the bag. The sides and bottom of the pocket are sewn right into the seams of the bag itself. Each pocket is divided into sections that are reinforced with double stitching. One pocket is the perfect size for a pen(included). The Milan Bag has an 8.5" wide pocket large enough to hold a pattern. What more could you want?!
The Handles:
My handles were designed by me and created by a local Pennsylvania woodworker. Each handle is made of Cherry - varying in shade from light to dark. Each is lacquered for long wear-time and beauty.
The Buttons:
I love ceramic buttons. They are my passion in the studio where I hand-throw, glaze and fire my own creations. There are no two alike and they set my bags apart. Occasionally, I use vintage buttons, many dating back to the 1920's. All the buttons, whether ceramic or vintage are quite valuable and add to the personality of the bag.

1. Plexiglass bottoms to firmly hold your bag in shape. No more saggy bottoms with a Tika Bag.
2. Purse Feet to protect the base of your bag from the elements.
3. Stabilizers sewn into the seams of your Tika Bag to hold it more upright than other fabric bags.
4. Tika sachet enclosed with each bag to scent your projects and also protect from moth damage. (Removeable , if so desired) Sachet is "our " blend of herbs & botanicals unique to the industry.
